The Institute of Analytical Chemistry and Instrument for Life Science (ACLS) is committed to developing innovative technologies to address the national and global issues in human health. In ACLS, we aim to create new analytical strategies, tools, and devices to reveal the biological process in living cells at the molecular level. These fundamental understandings will impact applications ranging from chemical sensing, cancer diagnosis, and biomedicine. The ACLS is led by Prof. Yongxi Zhao, awardee of the Young Scholar in “ChangJiang Scholars Program” (2017). Our multidisciplinary institute brings together scientists and engineers from biology, chemistry, physics, material science, engineering and information technology to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation in life science.
The main research areas actively pursued by our members are:
-Single-cell omics (Prof. Yongxi Zhao)
-Molecular assembly and regulation (Prof. Na Wu)
-Biomolecular atlas analysis (Prof. Yayan Wu)
-Intelligent biocomputation (Prof. Feng Chen)
-Micro-nano analysis and instrument (Prof. Jing Wei)
-Bionanoscale recognition (Prof. Biwu Liu)
